Usage of the Computer

Where: Kitchen Table
When: 6-8:30

6- Turned on my computer to start finish writing a paper due at noon today. It is on the conventions of the French New Wave which we all know uses reflexivity, available lighting, on location shooting
6:15- logged on to wisc.edu to use a powerpoint for my paper
7- youtubed La Femme Infidele the movie I was writing my paper on so I could write a brief sequence summary
7:30- finishing up my paper
7:45- went on youtube and listened to some funk because i had finished my paper
8-sporcled for a bit
8:15- logged on to my wiscmail to and checked if I had to go to my 8 am class. For the first time in 2 weeks it wasn't optional.
8:25- looked for new backgrounds for my computer on google images. I looked up transcendence and found some really cool looking photos. Most of them dealing with space, bright colors, spirits, or light and all were abstract except for the one I picked. I picked a photo of a bright light shining through some tall trees that looked like they grew in the northwest of the United States.
8:30- shut down my computer for the night so I could relax

  1. I think it is fascinating that you are the only person who actually got off of the computer at an early hour. It seems like most people were on it til all hours of the night, and the last thing they tracked wasn't that they turned it off. I'm jealous that you can disconnect yourself from the internet. I feel like I would have many more brain cells if I could do the same. Also, good choice on your background. The others sounded a little too rave-y. However, I'm not sure how you could determine the origin of the trees. Impressive.
