Well, I didn't write down the exact times but last night I did the following with my computer...
I had a massive research paper to write so naturally I started off the night on Facebook. I did some surfing on there for about 10 minutes then decided to start looking up sources at the very least for my paper. I got a good Google Scholar list of articles and started downloading the PDFs. That took about 20 minutes. Then, instead of starting to read the articles, I went back and checked Facebook. Then I checked Twitter. I also browsed YouTube for interesting videos about the show Twin Peaks, which I recently got obsessed with. I checked message boards for the shows I watched to see if anyone had posted anything interesting, especially about Desperate Housewives which had aired just a few hours earlier. I was on these sites for about 45 minutes. I read one article and decided I was too tired to read anymore. But of course, I wasn't too tired to go back and check Facebook again. I also checked to see if there was anything new or interesting about Scream 4. This took about another 30 minutes. Then I went to bed.
That the way it usually goes. Sometimes I wish that I had dial-up so I could only write my papers because internet would be so slow. I also noticed you didn't even go to sporcle to avoid paper writing, next time if your trying to procrastinate you should try that.
