First things, a follow up on my last post: I received an e-mail displaying a message from that woman at the shoe house (they send you an e-mail if someone tries talking to you when you're logged out). The strange part was she sent me a message in Italian, which luckily I spent three semesters here at UW learning. She said "Why did you log out? I wanted to connect with you!". Needless to say, I will not be returning to the island of the shoe room.
I decided today instead to scope out the entrance portal for Second Life to see if I could connect with other new people. I got talking to one guy for a little while about being new to the whole thing, but he apparently was meeting his girlfriend somewhere so she could help him learn how to play.
After that, had a couple small conversations but nothing substantial. I decided to investigate another place to possibly buy as my house, but apparently you need to spend actual money to purchase a house. I decided I'll stick with my whole deal as the wandering drifter.
Going to go on again later since the snowstorm is going to hit around then, might make a list of all the glitches I encounter because they have becoming pretty bad lately. Stay tuned.
