Google

I went on Google this afternoon and searched for myself and I didn't really find anything all that surprising. I've "Googled" myself before, so I had a pretty good idea of what I was going to find. Most of the things that show up for me have to do either with work or things that are on public forums. The first site that showed up was Facebook, which I'm not sure is a good thing or not. Other things that show up at first are either links to UWBadgers.com or a networking site called LinkedIn. Besides that, there wasn't much that showed up. One site did catch my eye though. Its some blog that I had never heard of or looked at before, but apparently have posted on it several times. When I looked at it, the people who made the blog seem to be from my high school--there are a lot of posts that have to do with my area at home. I also noticed that the names of a lot of the people I went to high school with were also commenting, but none of the posts seem to be real, which begs the question why people think its funny to say things under someone else's name. Overall, I wasn't too surprised with what I found except for the one made up blog.
