I had never heard of the concept of "e-dosing" before this class; the idea itself seemed so absurd that I had to give it a try. Like many of my classmates i watched the "Millenium Bug" video, among others, and like many of my classmates i felt few effects. If getting high from e-dosing means having a headache and strained eyes then consider me ripped. In all seriousness, I'm not sure how this process works or if I'm doing something wrong but to get idea of what can happen from e-dosing I watched several e-dosing "freakout" videos that were quite amusing. These freakout videos generally showed people laying down twitching and making squeaking noises, raising he question of what exactly is the appeal of e-dosing? After conducting this e-dosing experiment I came to the conclusion that this is the exact sort of thing that perpetuates negative images of the internet among circles that are reluctant to embrace new technology, adding fuel to the argument for stronger filters and regulation.
