When: Friday Dec. 3, 2010
Where: my apartment and the Nitty Gritty
Time frame: 5pm-11:30pm
**Disclaimer - I did not record all of my BlackBerry usage because that would be horribly excessive. Basically, I get three of my four email accounts forwarded to my phone, I can use the Internet, and I regularly call people/get calls, text with people, and continuously check my BlackBerry Twitter app. My Twitter app updates every 10 minutes so that's basically checking 40 times or so in one night...not including when I post in between the application updating.**
5pm
check email (4 accounts)
Facebook
20 minutes of sporcle and Facebook chat
Blogged for my practicum project
spent some time on Delish.com for my practicum project
6pm
checked email
perused madison.com
sorted through my RSS news feed
7pm-9pm
went to Nitty for dinner but had multiple text conversations and got twitter updates during dinner
9:30pm-11:30pm
did a little online window shopping
checked Facebook and email
did about 15 minutes of research on Madcat for research paper
Basically, if we are just counting activities on an actual computer...I am not too bad but when adding in my phone I am absolutely obsessive. I admit the problem and don't want to remedy it...I love being constantly connected to my family, friends, emails and news. If my phone dies or I have it in my purse instead of in my pocket where I can hear the notifications I get a little lost. I love my BlackBerry and the things I can do with it! I am a tech/constantly connected addict! And PROUD of it!
