Yes, I am a Tumblr addict. I admit it.
I really need to work on time management. I tend to get distracted and pull open whatever windows I have open. If Google Chrome (my browser of choice) is open, I can easily click on Tumblr or Facebook which are saved in my bookmark bar and visit them even if just for a second or two. I jump around a lot and don't tend to stay at one site for too long.
It felt kind of good to get off for awhile and read a book, but I knew I had to get back on and finish this paper I was working on. I actually might not have bounced around quite as much had I not had the paper to do - I tend to use the bouncing as a distraction from my work and justify it by knowing that I don't stick around at one site for more than a couple minutes at a time. Somehow that makes it okay, apparently.
I should probably work on this.
