Practicum 5 - Hannah McClung

I have completely incorporated blogging into my food decisions. I now plan dinner and restaurant choices on the ability to blog about them. I also take pictures with my phone of almost everything I eat just in case I decide to blog about it. I think I have been completely successful in integrating my blog into my life and making it party of my online experience. However, I am still sort of failing at integrating my blog into the cooking blogosphere. I have not been able to find a site or discussion forum that allows bloggers about food or cooking to post their blogs to try and get people to comment or to increase their exposure. I have been posting my posts on other bloggers posts (yep...I have become to desperate for making contacts in the food blogging world that I now write the comments that say "I just posted something like on my blog (link to blog)." It is a little sad but maybe it will work...however, I don't have extremely high hopes for it to actually work).

I do have a recurring person who posts comments on blog now. She is a friend but it is still nice to have someone who regularly reads and comments on my blog. I also follow her on twitter and she has begun tweeting my posts so I have decided to ask my friends to retweet my posts to get their friends to look at my blog and then maybe I will get people who I don't know commenting on my blog.
