I thought this video about the History of the Internet was thorough (for it's duration) and relatively interesting. Although it did spew out a number of facts, dates, and definitions, the pictures and clips were relatively simple, which allowed for a easier understanding of the more technical concepts. The pace and the music kept my interest and flowed well with the diagrams. Additionally, I really liked how the video incorporated other countries into the history of the Internet; it allowed for a more comprehensive understanding. Sometimes videos and articles can concentrate on the American interpretation of history and ignore other international issues or developments that led to the Internet we use today.
Overall, the pace and terms did make the video confusing to follow at some points, but with a basic understanding of the Internet through lecture, I thought of the video as more of a review. As a review, I thought it did a great job of conveying a lot of information in a short period of time.
