I found the video on the history of the internet to be quite boring. Although, after learning in the class where the internet originally stemmed from, this video did provide a nice and simple recap of the information as a whole. I now have a better visual understanding of all the bits and pieces of history that have led to the internet we now use today. When spending vast amounts of time using the internet on a day to day basis I never would have imagined there to be so much history behind it. I am often to consumed in what I am doing on the internet in the time to think about how amazing the internet truly is and how it has become so vital in our lives.
With the monotone voice and lack of photo or color in the video I did find myself having a hard time staying engaged with what was going on. The creation of the internet is actually really cool to think about and it is unbelievable how it all began. If the video had more life to it my visual understanding would be further enhanced!
