Plants vs. Zombies
I have a friend who is really into this game and I've always wanted to see what the big deal was. It never looked all that exciting to me, but once I started playing I got really into it. I enjoyed the entire strategy aspect of the game- it was a lot more fun than other games that require hardly any brainpower. I whizzed through the levels, and I was actually kind of bummed out when it told me I couldn't play anymore unless I bought the game. $20 is an awful lot to spend on a game like this, so I wouldn't shell out the money to play it any more. It was fun while it lasted though. I can see why people get so into it. I found myself using certain plants more than others, and ended up with a few favorites that I felt were essential in each round. It was fun trying to figure out which plants were the best in which situations. The "huge waves of zombies" always freaked me out though. I always felt like I was going to lose whenever they came rushing in! I only failed once or twice though. Overall I think this game is really fun and does take a bit of strategy. I totally get the hype, but it's not something I think I would play for an extended amount of time. It was addicting while it lasted.

I agree, I can definitely see how this game can become addicting. I do think that $20 for an online game is a little excessive but think that playing for the few minutes definitely serves its purpose; I don't think I'd be sitting there for hours playing this game. The huge waves of zombies was something I also noted to, it overwhelmed me but was really funny to watch. I think that strategy definitely is necessary in order to be successful in this game but is something you can only start working on once you played for a few minutes to figure out what this game is about.
