Plants Vs. Zombies

Besides playing Lemmings and Crystal Caves when I was younger (ahh memories), the extent to my computer gaming now are only free games on AdultSwim and Family Feud on Facebook, so I didn't have a lot of previous experience to compare Plants vs. Zombies to.
I liked the simple graphics and concept, along with the easy-to-understand instructions. I got a tiny bit annoyed when the suns took too long to come and the zombies ate my plants! But as far as the difficulty goes, I played it for half an hour and didn't lose any levels etc. so it seems like a good game if you have a lot of time. I wouldn't choose this just because it took too long to make it to level five where the game changes (and you find out why the zombies wear cone hats). I liked the bowling with walnuts! After level 7 I had to move on to other homework - but I am guessing that one gets more and more plants/tools, with a bonus or different round like the bowling at every 5th level. This game is more of a repetitive time waster than a fun, engaging one. I also like games where you have more decisions to make on an offensive level - if there was a way for the player themselves to shoot at the zombies then I think I would enjoy it more.
Since I haven't played games much, I haven't noticed how many websites offer the Like button for Facebook. I clicked like and got a few friends who texted me that they enjoyed playing this on their boring, overcast Sunday.
