That being said, it took an extreme effort to actually pay attention and comprehend what the narrator was saying. The use of more colorful illustrations and exciting narration would have made the facts appear more straightforward. Also, a lot of vocabulary and acronyms were being thrown out and at times it was hard to stay focused.

History of the Internet
I thought that the video, although a little dull, created a helpful visual for understanding how the Internet came into existence. The continuous flow of images coinciding with the narration made it easier to understand the information that was being given. I liked that the video started off talking about the various uses of the Internet today because it provided a reminder that we would be nowhere without the advances that were made 50 years ago. It was interesting to see how far we have come from one task computers in 1957 as well as how U.S. history influenced developments in computer technology.
