I have finally gotten someone to comment on my blog! I was so excited to find a comment from a username I wasn't familiar with. I looked up their profile and discovered that the person who had commented writes a movie blog. Curious that a movie blogger would comment on a food blog but then I looked to see what post they commented on and it was my Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows post! They must search through Blogger for posts about movies and they commented on my post about the food served at Sundance Theater for the midnight showing!
This is also the first time I have had two people comment on a single post! What a day for me and the progress of making connections through blogging! I'm still looking for more ways to get more people to comment on my posts but I think one of the most important things is coming up with interesting titles and using keywords/labels. I wasn't using labels but I am going to start because it might bring my blog up in my Blogger searches!
Congrats, that's sweet. Have you tried making a twitter to supplement your blog? You can tweet every time you have a new blog post up or find some other related content. You could follow people who tweet/blog/cover food-related stuff in hopes that they will follow you back and potentially increase the readership of your blog posts.
