Blog #5 Youtube & Hulu

In watching a Youtube and Hulu video I noticed some significant differences between the two sites. My Youtube video was less than 2 minutes long and was obviously made by an amateur. The video was called "How to Playground" and was humorous depiction of how to play on a playground. This video did not have any commercials and was easy to find on the front page. In contrast, on Hulu I watched episode 13 of season 5, Jenkins off of How I Met Your Mother. Hulu appeared to have longer videos and movies in contrast with Youtube's shorter more amateur videos. During the program, there was four commercials but each commercial was repeated. Because the Hulu video was longer, I throughly enjoyed this video more. Hulu seemed easier to navigate through since it appeared to offer only TV shows and movies as opposed to Youtube which offers a much larger variety of videos.
