After completing the challenge, I received the 'IBO-K9, the Artificial Companion' card ... Whattup! I went into my profile to check it out and noticed that I have 8 different badges, which are given out after you complete different tasks or games. Along with the badges, you can earn points and move up levels of your gamer-ness. I've got 115 points and am apparently a Level 3 gamer. Since I didn't know how good that is, I checked out the points leaderboard and was pleased to find that I still have a life, unlike 'Jayisgames' who has amassed 365,000 points and earned himself a level 65--that dude has no life. Hopefully I finish this project before I turn into 'Jayisgames,' but right now I'm not too worried.

Practicum #2
This is my second practicum post for Kongregate, the online gaming website. After going around and playing a lot of the games on the site, I decided to become a little more familiar with how being a member on the site benefits you. That is to say, what are the advantages to actually creating a log-in and not just going to the site and playing the games. One thing I've noticed each time I go on to Kongregate is that there is a challenge posted for members to try and win. The challenge is generally reaching some achievement in one of the games. For example, this week's challenge was to reach a certain height in a game whose main purpose for you to get your character to jump as high as it can, using trampolines to launch you higher.

Ben--this sounds very interesting. What is this K9 card? Is it some sort of Kongregate puppy that guides you through this gaming world? That would be pretty fun for you to have. What is the maximum number of levels you can reach? Although a level 65 may have no life, I think you should be setting your sights a little higher than level 3. Until then, I will withhold my congratulations for your 8 badges.
