Googling Jennifer Abramson

When I googled myself just now, the Jennifer Abramson who came up was a psychiatrist in Maplewood, New Jersey. The other Jennifer Abramson who appeared on google search page 1 was a Jennifer whose marriage was announced in the NY Times on February 2, 1997, which is ironically my birthday. The other three Jennifer Abramson's who appeared on the first page was a 19 year old girl from Monroe, Michigan whose myspace page showed up, a mom whose twitter link showed up, and a 25 year old model from West Orange, New Jersey.

When I went on the next page of the search, there were still more Jennifer Abramson's showing up that wasn't me. One website that showed up a lot was a linkedin.com for a Jennifer Abramson who is currently the IMAC coordinator for Starwood Hotels. The doctor from Mapelwood, NJ showed up again too along with more Jennifer Abramsons.

It wasn't until the bottom of the third search page that I found myself on a geni.com website. Geni.com is a website that tracks down your family tree. Someone in my family - no idea who they are - started this chain and included me in it.

I decided to then google my name and the town I'm from. Weirdly enough, the Jennifer Abramson whose wedding was announced in the New York Times and the Jennifer Abramson who is the doctor in New Jersey showed up again and both there middle names appeared too, Leigh. My middle name is Leigh too so now I know there are two other people in the world with the same exact name as me.

I never knew how many Jennifer Abramson's there were and now want to do something substantial so I can come up first when I search my name instead of that psychiatrist from Maplewood, New Jersey.
